Head to head,
Smiles never shown,
Battle about to begin,
outcome never known,
The war is waged and only one team in the end will reign,
Manners left at home their here to win the game,
Blades cut the ice as brute force keeps the enemy at bay,
The crowd goes wild as sticks slap eagerly at the puck that's put in play,
With weapons held and armor worn the game has just begun,
No place to hide, no cover to seek, just gladiators having fun,
From battle to battle the exchange is of luck, skill, and pain,
With fists that fly from men who don't cry pain is showered down like rain,
Knocked out teeth, a busted nose but in the end the rule,
Men who are men who will battle again with only sticks to start their duel..
*disclaimer (apparently I need one) these are not the tickets I had... I had to sell mine.
